Subject: You can have the best technology and solution in the world, but it is useless if Users can’t adopt it and stick to it.

Audience: LinkedIn

Topic: Why?? Because any new initiative involves people and we NEED to take people's involvement into consideration….. regardless of the supporting technology to your new digital transformation or even a good-old ERP implementation; you can NOT escape the OCM impacts of change.

Diriger’s solutions are built on new technologies and we are fully cognisant of potential people issues; hence our Diriger ChangeFRAME Methodology which is structured as follows….

➡️ Familiarise - with the Customer’s current state and capabilities through an OCM Assessment that determines how they will react to a new technology and the process-based solutions; NOT all organisations can handle the change that new technologies provide.

➡️ Recruit & Empower - Real Change Leaders (RCL’s) need to be identified, empowered, and supported in order to articulate the change and the journey to enabling the progression towards the new state.

➡️ Agree and Commit - To the new way forward and the effort to get there.

➡️ March-forward Planning - An OCM Readiness assessment Is needed to ensure that the new solution is not only implemented to expectations; but planned for optimisation and extensibility.

➡️ Enable & Sustain - ‘Work with’ both project and BAU folk to ensure that the appropriate levels of ‘buy-in’ for the solution are executed, measured, and improved upon…. Remember, the herd only moves forward at the pace of the slowest participants.

The model below is indicative of the situational environment we face with each new implementation - the RCL’s are the key ‘Agents of Change’ every organisation needs, but still, beware of the “Potential Chasm” between Early Adopters and the Early Majority.
